Are shops open on Christmas Day? | The Sun

YOU might be keen to know what time your favourite retailer is open over the Christmas period.

If you look forward to hitting the sales over the festive period you might want to make a note of these opening times.

It's worth double-checking to avoid any wasted journeys.

Most retailers have store locators on their websites where you can check where your nearest branch is and it's opening hours.

You just have to enter the town where you live or postcode.

Either way, we've rounded up a full list of store opening and closing times for this week.

Tesco Christmas Day opening times

Tesco has over 3,400 stores across the UK and the opening hours will vary from branch to branch.

If you are planning to visit a Tesco this Christmas, make sure to check the supermarket's store locator.

You can find your local store and their opening time by typing your postcode into the store locator on the Tesco website.

It is important to check for changes if your local store is usually open 24 hours as that may not be the case over the long weekend.
