A tattoo addict on an extreme quest to become a "black alien" has opened up about his family’s difficult initial response to his unique transformation.

Anthony Loffredo has taken extraordinary steps to enhance his extraterrestrial appearance, even chopping off two of his fingers, and is also considering amputating one of his legs.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the body modification fan has admitted that his appearance has cost him work opportunities, and recently, Anthony lifted the lid on his family’s reaction to his unusual lifestyle.

“It’s fine, I talk to my brother and sister, my mum. At the beginning it’s hard of course, it’s something very hard and very shocking,” he told the Rene ZZ YouTube channel.

“And for my mum it’s very hard because it’s her son that she sees change so much, so for her it’s something very shocking.”

But despite the initial shock, the so-called Black Alien suggested that he now had a positive relationship with his family members.

“At the end of the day, I always talk to her, everyday… We have a good relationship, everything is normal,” he continued.

“I’m very lucky to have a mum like mine. There’s people whose mum doesn’t talk to them just for getting a tattoo.

“It depends on the mentality that your mum has.”

On the same podcast episode, the black alien admitted that a recent operation to insert implants into his eyebrows left him “puking” all night because of the pain.

But, this doesn’t appear to have deterred Anthony, and his latest procedure shocked fans when he carved his nickname into the flesh on the side of his forehead in an incredible video shared on Instagram.

Next up – undeterred by his mum’s request that he doesn’t get any more modifications – Anthony plans to remove one of his healthy legs in order to develop his futuristic look.
