Body modification fan removes nose tip and nipples in latest extreme procedures

An extreme body modification shared his latest procedure where he removed the tip of his nose and nipples.

Odin, who goes by his first name only, began modifying his body at the age of 21.

He started by stretching his septum to 17mm before turning to more extreme changes to his appearance.

Over the past 11 years, the tattoo artist spent £6,300 ($8,000) on turning himself into a living piece of art.

Performing some of the procedures himself, he tattooed his own eyes and gums before an artist inked his entire body.

Now he's ditched his nipples and part of his nose.

The 32-year-old, from California, US, said: "I have some ribbed genital implants, my nipples are removed.

"I've also had branding scarification on my chest, wrist and face.

"I even tattooed my own chest, my own eyes, my gums and I tattooed my face some too.

"I think my body is a vessel for art and I think changing how I'm seen is part of that practice.

"I started doing this mostly because of my appreciation for tribal history, culture and art."

Odin had the tip of his nose "displaced" as part of a septril piercing, costing only £63 at the time.

The procedure began as a normal piercing, stretching to 4mm before a biopsy punch to widen the hole.

Increasing the piercing to 19mm in diameter, Odin showed off the inside of his nose with the cartilage visible.

He added: "My septril piercing started out pretty small. I have been stretching it bigger for the last eight years or so.

"I have probably spent £550 to £790 ($700 to $1,000) on jewellery specifically for that piercing."

Due to his unique appearance, Odin experiences a lot of abuse by trolls, even receiving death threats online and offline.

"I've had people harass me on the street, they love hating anything different," Odin admitted.

"I don't ever focus on it though, I just walk by any strangers acting like animals."

Although some family members disapprove of his appearance, Odin still feels supported by pals.

He concluded: "My family is not terribly fond of what I've done to my appearance.

"I still am invited to holiday dinners though and speak with my relatives regularly.

"We are on good terms despite disagreements.

"Many of my friends usually seem a little proud to be friends with me, like I'm a one-of-a-kind person to know."

Despite all, Odin has no plans to stop his journey with the hopes of having his ears pointed and naval removed.

Sharing his look on Instagram under @witch_doctors, the tattooist boasts over 3,000 fans.

He recently shared the "nose job" to mixed reactions.

One said: "I didn't know you could stretch that part of your nose!"

Another added: "Stop I'm going to puke. You need to settle down, okay?"

While a third praised: "I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore this."
