Boots has launched a skincare brand tailored for menopausal skin, and it’s already receiving five-star reviews from online shoppers who’ve hailed it a ‘revelation’.

The British store has launched a new range, the No7 Menopause Skincare Collection, co-created with 7,000 menopausal women to support your skin through the change.

Boots has launched a skincare brand tailored for menopausal skin – and prices start from £14.95

Developed by No7 scientists following five years of scientific research, the new range, which consists of four products, targets the most common menopausal skincare concerns, including redness, dryness and accelerated signs of ageing – and that’s the shortlist.

No7 Head of Science Research Dr Mike Bell said in a statement: ‘Our scientific research shows the important role that oestrogen plays in maintaining skin health.

‘The new No7 Menopause Skincare range has been developed to support skin barrier resilience and tackle some of the most common concerns women report.’

While menopause marks the end of menstrual periods, there is a range of symptoms beyond the expected hot flashes and mood changes that have a visual effect on the skin.

A drop in estrogen is directly linked to the reduction in collagen and lipid production in the skin, leading to a loss of firmness, chronic dryness, sensitivity and even acne.
