Forget the friends stumping up cash to fix the problem, they instead went to the drawing board to think up a more creative solution.

In a TikTok clip that has racked up thousands of views, Marc-Olivier filmed his three friends inspecting the rear bumper – before one poured boiling water from the kettle on it.

“My friend had a little accident and bumped my other friend’s car.”

As she continued pouring, Marc-Olivier explained: “She did not have the money to get it fixed so someone suggested we try to fix it with ourselves with boiling water.”

After they had used all of the water from the kettle, another friend jumped in with a plunger to pull on the dent as someone else pushed from the other side.

And, surprisingly it worked.

The group of friends bellowed and screeched with laughter as the dent popped out which made the car look good as new!

“Call us if you need your car fixed!”, Marc-Olivier joked.

Amazed by the technique, many people fled to the comments to praise the group.

One person commented: “Teamwork makes the dream work.”

Another user claimed: “Excellent work, but goes to show how people get overcharged for repairs.”

While a third person giggled: “I felt like the car was going to give birth, hot water, towels, suction, midwives.”

Someone else praised: “What a victory. I was so happy watching this.”

Meanwhile, a fifth person gasped: “THIS WHOLE TIME I COULD HAVE DONE THIS.”
