Camilla Parker Bowles abruptly canceled her “Today” show interview with Jenna Bush Hager Thursday morning and “rushed” to be by Queen Elizabeth II’s side in Balmoral, Scotland, amid health concerns.

“We’re here at the Dumfries House which is in Southeast Scotland,” Bush Hager, 40, said in an emotional update outside of the home. “I was invited here to sit down with her Royal Highness, Camilla.”

The “Today” show correspondent explained that she was “just hours away” from the interview when the Duchess of Cornwall and her husband, Prince Charles, “took off to go see her Majesty the Queen in Balmoral.”

“This is not something they do lightly. They have schedules that are packed full of events for philanthropy,” Bush Hager explained.

“We know from the palace that this is not something they would do lightly,” Bush Hager said.
