Carrie Johnson has offered her Instagram followers a glimpse at her lavish summer holiday with her three children.

Taking to her social media account today, Boris Johnson’s wife shared a selection of images capturing her soaking up the sun alongside Wilfred, three, Romy, one and baby Frank, at an undisclosed location.

In one of the images, two of her youngsters can be seen sitting on a pebbled beach, while another shows the view of a gorgeous pool, surrounded by a picturesque scene of a clear blue sky and glistening sea.

Elsewhere, Carrie, dressed in a stylish pair of sunglasses and pink shorts, walks on the sand with her daughter, who sports an adorable pink swimsuit.

The mother and daughter duo are pictured sharing a sweet kiss in another one of the snaps, while Romy and Wilfred cuddle each other as they watch the sun set on the beach in the final image.

Carrie also proved to be a keen reader while on holiday, with one image showing her balancing a book she was reading on her sun-kissed legs.

Carrie and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the arrival of their third child in July 2023 – and revealed his interesting name.

Taking to Instagram, Carrie, 35, shared pictures of her newborn son, called Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson, who is the former Prime Minister’s eighth child.

The couple are already parents to Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, three, and Romy Iris Charlotte Johnson, 19 months.

Introducing her baby boy to the world, Carrie wrote online: ‘A week of Frankie. Welcome to the world Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson born 5th July at 9.15am.

She joked: ‘Can you guess which name my husband chose?!’ in reference to Mr Johnson’s well-known love of ancient Greek myths.

Boris, 59, studied Classics at Oxford University’s Balliol College and Odysseus is a mythical Greek hero in Homer’s epic poem The Odyssey.

Meanwhile, the Johnsons named their eldest Wilfred after Mr Johnson’s paternal grandfather, Osman Wilfred Kemal.

One of the youngster’s middle names, Lawrie, is a reference to Mrs Johnson’s own granddad.

His other middle name, Nicholas, was a tribute to a doctor who treated the former MP while he battled Covid at St Thomas’s hospital in London.

Their daughter Romy was named after Mrs Johnson’s aunt Rosemary. Iris is from the Greek word for rainbow – a nod to the fact their daughter is a ‘rainbow baby’ – a child born after miscarriage or stillbirth.

Her second middle name is a tribute to the Prime Minister’s mother Charlotte Johnson Wahl, who passed away in 2021.

In her Instagram post, Carrie revealed her newborn’s arrival and names with a series of adorable pictures.

How many children does Boris Johnson have?

The Prime Minister and Marina Wheeler, who separated in 2018, have four children together: Lara Lettice, 26, Milo Arthur, 24, Cassia Peaches, 22, and Theodore Apollo, 20.

He also has a fifth child, Stephanie Macintyre, with art consultant Helen Macintyre.

Ms Macintyre’s daughter is allegedly one of two children he fathered as a result of an affair.

The Appeal Court ruled in 2013 that the public had a right to know that he had fathered a daughter during an adulterous liaison while Mayor of London in 2009 – but also mentioned the possibility of a second baby.

Lara attended Bedales school – which costs £33,000-a-year – in Hampshire and went on to read Latin at St Andrews University.

Milo went to £27,000-a-year Westminster School and can speak Arabic, Russian and French. Cassia went to Highgate School – which costs £18,000 per year – and Theodore went to Cambridge University.

Boris’ son Wilf, born on April 29, 2020,  is from his relationship with wife Carrie. His second with Carrie, Romy, was born in December 2021. The third child was born on July 11, 2023. Mr Johnson’s eighth.

She also shared pictures of Frankie being tucked in by his big brother Wilf and lying happily in a Moses basket.

She said in her caption: ‘Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble. Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten.

‘Thank you so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH. They really are the most amazing, caring people. I feel such immense gratitude.

‘Now, can anyone recommend any good series/box sets to binge while breastfeeding?

‘Time for a drink’.

The baby is the couple’s third together but Daily Mail columnist Mr Johnson’s eighth.

The former PM has four children from his marriage to lawyer Marina Wheeler.

He also has a fifth child, Stephanie Macintyre, with art consultant Helen Macintyre.

In May Mrs Johnson announced she was expecting her third child.

Sharing her news on Instagram, she said she felt ‘pretty exhausted’ for the past eight months, adding, ‘we can’t wait to meet this little one’ in a few weeks time.

‘Wilf is v excited about being a big brother again and has been chattering about to nonstop.

‘Don’t think Romy has a clue what’s coming. She will soon.’

The baby’s arrival is just over three years after Mrs Johnson gave birth to her first son Wilfred.

In December 2021 they welcomed their daughter Romy, which Mrs Johnson described as their ‘rainbow baby’ following her miscarriage a year before.

The couple moved to Oxfordshire earlier this year after Mr Johnson resigned as Prime Minister last September.

Mr Johnson’s children with Ms Wheeler are all in their 20’s – Lara Lettice is 20, Milo Arthur is 27, Cassia Peaches, 25 and Theodore Apollo, 23.
