We love it when a celebrity goes through a major hair transformation – and the latest to do so is Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon, who’s ditched her longer locks for a short, blunt bob.
In a post shared to her Instagram Stories, the 26 year old looked almost unrecognisable with the sleek, shoulder-length ‘do that’s giving major Posh Spice vibes. Much like the pop singer’s iconic cut, Lucy’s new hairstyle features a chic middle-parting with the ends curved inwards.
“Chop chop,” she captioned the picture, in which she wears her new ‘do with one section tucked neatly behind her ear.
Not only has the soap star gone for a much shorter style for summer, but it appears that she’s opted for a lighter shade of blonde too, with silvery platinum pieces framing her face.
Lucy tagged her hair stylist Clare Ashton in the post who, while sharing a snap of the finished look to her own Stories, also revealed that they had in fact updated Lucy’s colour.
“Loving the new tones 10.6 – so fresh,” she wrote in the caption.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Lucy has gone for the chop. During her time in the spotlight, she’s regularly switched from her naturally shorter locks to longer styles with the help of hair extensions.
In a before-and-after Reel shared to Clare’s Instagram back in October, we can see the actress going from having shoulder-length hair to re-appearing with lengthy princess hair.
In the caption, Lucy’s hair stylist shared that the look was created using hair extensions by celebrity-loved hair brand, Beauty Works, whose famous clients include Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague, Maura Higgins and Zara McDermott – to name but a few.
Fans of the star rushed to the comment section, with one person writing, “gorgeous,” and another adding, “Looks amazing”.
Whilst we’re certain that Lucy can pull off pretty much any hairstyle going, we’ve got to admit that we’re loving her new shorter locks.
