Dad is shamed after toddler daughter grabbed his coffee from under his nose and spilled it over herself while he was engrossed in his phone

The moment an oblivious father failed to notice his todddler snatching a cup of coffee from the table while engrossed by his phone has been caught on camera.
Kaylie Burchardt from Tampa, Florida, originally shared the clip of the incident, joking it’s what happens when your partner says they will ‘get up with the baby in the morning so you can sleep’.
Although she seemed to take a light-hearted view of the moment, which saw the toddler spill the contents of the cup over her romper suit before her father noticed, the TikTok prompted a wave of critical comments.
The video shows the little girls in her walker making her way over to the table, grabbing the drink, backing away and then trying to take a few gulps before spilling it.
While it is unclear whether the contents of the cup were hot or not, the youngster didn’t seem to be in any distress after spilling it so it appears it was thankfully a cold drink.
However, people were quick to criticize the father for being so engrossed in his phone.

Viewers caught a glimpse of the occurrence as it was recorded by a Ring camera.
At first, the baby wandered over to the father who was sitting on the sofa and scrolling on his phone with their pet dog perched on the cushion behind him.
The child quickly noticed the cup and grabbed it with ease, before taking it over to a different area of the room.
A small amount of the drink spilt as the young girl moved, and at one point she looked extremely close to drinking some of it as she put the glass cup straight towards her mouth.
The baby continued to sniff the drink and put her hands inside of the cup, all while the father’s eyes remained glued to his phone.
Finally, as she dropped the mug, the father realized and said: ‘Oh my god’.
He quickly moved the child away from the spillage and took her out of the walker before he carried her away from the scene.
People in the comments have criticized the father for being irresponsible and have said that it could have led to something far worse if the contents of the cup were hot.
While it is not clear if the liquid was hot or cold, TikTok users worry that it could have led to a more serious situation
