Dulux dog gives birth to seven adorable Old English Sheepdog puppies

The Dulux dog family just got a little bigger.

That’s because the current four-legged face of the brand, Olivia, gave birth to seven Old English Sheepdogs last month – making them the newest members of the famous family line.

The litter of seven – made up of five girls and two boys – arrived six weeks ago, on July 13.

Each adorable pup has the recognisable fluffy white and grey patched coat that’s now synonymous with the paint brand.

The sweet pups could be the future faces of the brand in years to come and have been described as ‘loveable bundles of irresistible cuteness that exude a unique charm’ by the Dulux team.

A new selection of adorable pictures show them running around the garden at their home in Lincolnshire.

But the arrival of the celebrity offspring comes following a turbulent few years for the breed. For those not clued-up, it was moved onto the Vulnerable Native Breeds list in 2020, after falling below 300 annual puppy registrations.

But the good news is that it’s no longer at risk of extinction following an increase of 66% in puppy registrations last year.

But the arrival of Olivia’s latest litter – which comes just ahead of International Dog Day – could give fresh hope to the breed.

Marianne Shillingford, the creative director and colour expert at Dulux commented: ‘The Old English Sheepdog has been the famous face of the brand for over 60 years now. As proud sponsors of the Old English Sheepdog Rescue & Welfare Fund, we’re delighted to be able to finally share the exciting news of the irresistible puppy additions to the Dulux family.

‘The pups are stars in their own right, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of them in the years to come.’
