This teen model’s career is taking off.
Dwyane Wade’s 16-year-old daughter, Zaya Wade, stars as one of the faces of Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2023-2024 collection, striking a pose in two looks for the high-fashion brand.
Zaya — whom the 41-year-old former NBA star shares with his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches — shared some of the images on her Instagram account Thursday and Friday, wearing a corduroy coat and matching skirt in one post and an overcoat with a sweater and skirt in another.
In the first post, which she captioned, “@miumiu FW23 by @zoeghertner,” Wade models a mustard yellow coat with a furry collar and coordinating pencil skirt, holding a deep brown version of Miu Miu’s Arcadie bag ($3,000).
The transgender model followed up Thursday’s post with a Reel that showed herself posing in the middle of an empty room while wearing a long black coat, polka dot skirt and solid gray sweater.
In the video, she clutches a camel shade of the same bag and wears her hair down in a simple, straight style.
Fans and famous faces alike praised her modeling shots, like trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney who wrote, “You slay every single time.”
Stylist Jason Bolden commented three heart emojis while “Girl Meets World” actress Rowan Blanchard left a series of sweet heart and floral bouquet emojis.
“YES NIECE 🔥” Ebony magazine’s Instagram account added.
The ads also include plenty of other famous faces (and celebrity kids), including Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin’s 22-year-old daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, “The Crown” star Emma Corrin and actresses Mia Goth and Zhao Jinmai.
It should come as no surprise that her first campaign is with Miu Miu; the teen model made her runway debut for the designer during Paris Fashion Week in March and also wore the label on her first magazine cover, posing in a Miu Miu T-shirt for the Spring 2023 issue of Dazed.
In an interview with the mag, Zaya said her “relationship with fashion has really evolved over the years.”

While the rising model originally thought she wanted to emulate her fashionable parents, she realized that clothing is “a really important part of expressing myself and my identity.”
“Whether I’m wearing a dress for winter formal or wearing a suit for a shoot, it’s just a way to level up my iconic-ness, I feel,” she added.
