Exact date you could get Universal Credit and benefits paid early within weeks | The Sun

THE August bank holiday is coming up and millions will be wondering when to expect their Universal Credit and benefit payments.

The three day weekend means benefits including Universal Credit, state pension and child benefit will be paid early.

Bank holidays can affect your usual dates for getting benefit payments.

For example, over the Easter break, many claimants were paid the day before Good Friday.

This year's summer bank holiday for most of the UK falls on Monday, August 29.

It means all benefit claimants who are due to be paid on August 28 will get their money earlier than usual.
