Which shops are closed over the August bank holiday?

Retailers' opening hours will vary over the August bank holiday, but the vast majority will be open as usual.

Most supermarkets and large high street chains have store locators on their website which you can use to find the opening hours for your nearest branch.

In most cases, you just have to enter your postcode into the search bar and it will tell you what time that store is open and closed.

Meanwhile, you can expect banks to stay shut and there likely won't be any post or deliveries.
