A mum who turned her back on her banking career to be a porn star is thriving – and her sons are happy for her.

Lucy Banks, 32, from Perth, Australia, ditched her corporate job to make adult videos on OnlyFans.

While some may say the new job is controversial, she revealed it gives her the freedom to be a better parent to her young boys.

Even though Lucy isn’t happy about how her sons found out about her new career, she is thankful for their support.

“Someone in their lives told them [about my OnlyFans], which isn't something I was happy about,” she told Daily Star.

“That should have been my choice but my boys are raised very open-minded and they are such little legends.

“My eldest said 'It's fine. People do worse things for money. Have you heard about hitmen? If you're happy, we're happy'. And that was it.

“We talk about it openly, at an age-appropriate level. They've seen how much happier I've become in the last few years, and they can see how our lifestyle has changed. I'm really proud to be the mother of two children who love and accept all people with kindness.”

Lucy is a single mother after divorcing her ex-husband, who she originally married when she was 22.

She's unsure about how he feels about her career change but all that matters to her is that her sons are well looked after.

“I don't think my ex-husband is thrilled about [my job] but he knows how much I love our children, and I'm sure he trusts that I make the best decisions for them,” she shared.

“My friends are family literally just asked me two questions, 'Are you happy? Are you safe?'. Once they knew I was both happy and safe, they supported me 100%.

“Anyone close to me will tell you that they have never seen me so happy, and I'm a completely different person to who I was four years ago. I'm confident, happy and peaceful.”

Lucy’s job change has proven to be a lucrative decision as she is now earning four times the amount she was making as a banker.

Her banking job was stressful and she was constantly under pressure, so she was looking for a way that she could leave the job behind but still be able to provide for her two children.

So far, OnlyFans has proven to be the perfect answer to her worries.

“I had two beautiful little boys who needed me. So, I thought 'Stuff it, I'm signing up to OnlyFans'. I was really shy initially; I was way in over my head,” she explained.

“I got married at 22, I had never even been to a strip club and I had no idea how to take sexy photos or how to talk sexually. But I quickly found my feet and started finding myself falling in love with the industry.

“That was almost four years ago and I love it more than ever now. I've travelled interstate to do collaborations and attend Sexpo, I've been nominated for awards, I've bought property and set myself and my kids up for life.”!

Thanks to her job, Lucy is able to do school pick up and drop off every day and she doesn’t rely on anyone else except herself.

She added: “I'm a mother, first and foremost. But a part of being a mother is ensuring your kids are provided for, and I can do that all on my own.”
