A woman who felt ‘genuinely ugly’ as a child has experienced a glow up in adulthood, but admits that she struggles to ‘get used to’ her newfound beauty.

April Opal, 18, from Middlesbrough has gone from being the ‘overweight’ girl that ‘nobody fancied’ to selling glamorous pictures for a living, which can make her up to £30,000 a month.

She explained that as a child she was ‘strange’ and ‘heavily criticised for how she looked’.

At one point, April was on track to study stem cell research at Oxford or Cambridge, but that all changed when she realised her newfound beauty.

In conversation with Daily Star, the content creator explained that she now finds it ‘strange’ that she can fund her life through her glamorous looks.

April said: ‘I was a genuinely strange child and as I got older it never really got better.’

‘I have been heavily criticised for how I look, and I was never anybody’s first choice in school, nobody really fancied me.’

The young model was focused on school and considered going to Oxford or Cambridge to study stem cell research.

But as April grew older, her looks slowly began to change.

After learning to do her makeup differently and opting for a glamorous style, her looks became more conventionally attractive.

She ditched her plan of studying at university since realising she can make a living off her looks.

The teen now flaunts her beauty on social media, with men fawning over her in the comments and paying money for her sexy images.

April can make up to £30,000 a month from selling her content, and one man that she had never met before asked for her hand in marriage after viewing her content.

The content creator said that she was ‘overweight’ when she was younger and no one would ever fancy her

Despite the change in April’s looks, she has admitted that being bullied as a child still affects her life today.

‘It is like I am constantly waiting for everybody else to be like actually ‘we are joking, we don’t like how you look and really, we think you are still that weird that kid’,’ she said.

However, she understands that this is unreasonable as it’s not yet happened.

April looks to the positives of her hefty earnings, which have allowed her to live a luxury lifestyle, and earlier this year she was able to travel around Asia thanks to her looks.

The content creator is set on travelling the world to partake in ‘fun’ and ‘amazing’ activities.

Though she is also intent on putting some money aside and buying properties to rent them out.

April has gone from working four jobs to help pay the bills, to being able to live a luxury lifestyle and travel the world

It comes after OnlyFans performer Lucy Banks, who has made over $1million sharing racy content online, has had the last laugh with a former school bully.

The adult star announced that she finally got revenge on a ‘girl from my home town who tried to ruin me’ in a recent TikTok video.

Lucy is seen dancing in front of her pool while a modern version of the ‘Chicken Dance’ plays.

In the caption to her dance video, she writes that her bully’s father ‘just subscribed to me’.

While many fans expressed approval with laughing emoji and sharing the video, Lucy had a couple of detractors.
