I won £120k on Lottery & first person I called was my girlfriend's brother… we've got a two-step plan for spending it | The Sun

A LUCKY bloke who won a staggering £120,000 on the Lottery revealed he has a two-step plan for spending it.

Sam Lawton, 23, scooped the huge cash prize after playing for the first time.

But after the dad-of-one realised he had won, the first person he called was his girlfriend's brother.

“Having never played before I asked Connie [Sam's girlfriend] to take a look," he said.

"But like me, she had never played before so we called her brother Craig, who’d played the National Lottery for years."

The former Army engineer from Leamington Spa explained he and Connie have a genius two-step plan for how they'll spend the money.

Just two hours after entering, his phone was filled with messages that informed him of his incredible win.

It comes after one lucky punter who landed £83,000 on the lottery revealed how she almost got nothing.
