A gardening expert shared a simple trick to get rid of weeds from hard-to-clear areas in your garden or balcony — and it only costs about 29p.
Many of the worst garden weeds can quickly take over your garden during the growing season and the pesky plant can be agressive and regrow after some time.
Gena Lorainne, a gardening expert at Fantastic Services, weighed in her insights and tips to help homeowners to maintain their patios and gardens weed-free.

And all you need is a 29p item from a supermarket — a bottle of distilled vinegar, like this 568ml one from Tesco.
She said: "The best possible proption here is one part vinegar and two parts water. Then pour it over the cracks, aiming for the middle sections of the weeds."
The method was mentioned in a Mrs Hinch fans Facebook page and according to one user tested it out, saying: "I’ve tried and tested this method. Use a gallon of white vinegar, one cup of salt and two tablespoons of washing-up liquid.
"Mix it together and put on the weeds with a watering can. Within two days the weeds will die and after a week sweep them up. I have tried this and it works so well.

"It’s not harmful to pets because it has no chemicals, I have a cat. Nothing will clear weeds as new seeds are blown into cracks with wind but just repeat above. It’s the best natural weed killer I’ve tried."
Another way to clear the weed is boiling water but it's a very aggressive method.
Gena said: "This is simply because the hot water can destroy practically every plant, no matter how tough and meaty its leaves are.
"This is why this solution is never used around regular plants because it would kill them in an instant too. Using boiling water to kill weeds is easy, you just need to boil some water and pour it on the patio while aiming for the cracks where the weeds live."
If you have a big garden or a large patio, you can get a mega pack of 5 litres vinegar from Amazon for £6.50.
