Denise Van Outen enjoyed a festive detox at a stunning spa retreat to see in the new year.
Over on Instagram, the 48 year old DJ, who just returned from awinter getaway to Dubai, posted a string of relaxed snaps from her trip to Glasshouse Detox and Wellness retreat. In the snaps, Denise appeared to be making the most of the spa’s offerings in the countryside setting.
Denise penned the caption: “Steam, sauna. Swim, cryotherapy, massage and vegan meals. What a fabulous place to rest and recuperate. Feeling fresh for 2023.”
Facilities on offer at the luxury Essex retreat include a heated leisure pool, sauna and steam room, a pond for guests to swim in, a warming Finnish sauna, as well as a spa with twelve treatment rooms. A standard overnight stay at the luxury retreat costs £429 per person.
The mother-of-one shared a glimpse of the spa’s stunning interiors, her healthy vegan brunch alongside her close pal, Angela Wilding, and the duo's accompanying smoothies.
Clips posted to her Instagram Stories showed Denise taking full advantage of the spa’s facilities, dancing in the cryotherapy chamber and posing for a selfie in the Finnish sauna. She also shared a photo of herself looking blissfully relaxed on a massage table with the caption: “best massage”.
Denise’s 2023 had gotten off to a better start than last year, as she was left heartbroken when her relationship with former fiancé Eddie Boxshall ended. Denise broke off her seven-year romance with former trader Eddie, 47, when she realised he’d been messaging other women behind her back.
A source has told OK! that Denise Van Outen is now “head over heels” for her new man Jimmy Barba and that he feels like “a breath of fresh air”.
Our source told us: “Denise is head over heels for Jimmy – he feels like a breath of fresh air and is a real man after all of Eddie's drama.
“He makes her laugh; they're having so much fun together after meeting online. It's not been long but she's smitten which is why she went on red carpet official with him.”
The source said: “Denise has had a really difficult few months since the split with Eddie.
"She wanted to give herself time to trust again and that was a tough process to go through after everything that went on when things broke down with Eddie.
“But then she met Jimmy and it just felt right. He makes her laugh out loud, he's a very funny, charismatic and outgoing guy and is able to make Denise laugh like she never has before.
“He cracks her up and they are very happy together. It's obviously very early days but it's very clear that Jimmy is keen on Denise.”
