For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health. Weddings are emotional at the best of times and as Sky Sports presenter Jo Wilson locks eyes with her husband-to-be Dan and whispers “I do”, it’s not unexpected when a few tears are shed.

The ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall in London is an intimate affair, witnessed by their impeccably behaved daughter Mabel, who is two-years-old, and Jo’s cousins Jeni and Lynne.

What makes the occasion even more poignant is that the bride and groom have brought forward their wedding plans after Jo’s shock diagnosis of stage 3 cervical cancer this summer.
