Vanessa Feltz is enjoying a “healing” trip to Ireland after breaking up with her partner of 16 years, Ben Ofoedu.
The Talk TV presenter, who reportedly discovered her beau had been unfaithful on Christmas day, shared a video of her from Ballycotton beach in Cork, Ireland, as she enjoyed the fresh seaside breeze.
A friend off screen asks the presenter “Feltzy, how are you feeling today?”
Vanessa then responds, “I’m feeling fantastic, why wouldn’t I? I’m in my beloved East Cork. Look how beautiful it is here.”
The 60 year old then shared that she was having a “wonderful time” after an “Irish welcome”, before wishing her fans a very happy Monday from her getaway.
Vanessa also added that the air was “fresh and clean" as she enjoyed her day on the beach.
The star was braced for the cold in a cream fur coat, a baby pink beanie, matching pink patterned leggings and a pair of bright pink wellies.
Vanessa is also wearing a pair of dark sunglasses in the clip.
In the comments, her celeb pals rushed to support and applaud Vanessa.
Lizzie Cundy wrote “good to get away darling”, whilst Ruth Langford simply wrote “enjoy.”
Meanwhile, Vanessa’s colleague and fellow Talk TV presenter Trisha Goddard left a series of red love heart emojis on the post.
Vanessa’s winter getaway comes after her very public split from ex Ben Ofoedu, who she lived with and was engaged to.
The couple were together for 16 years before they split at the beginning of February, amid rumours that Ben had been unfaithful.
The Phat & Smalls later confessed that he had cheated on Vanessa and even sexted some of his fans.
The 50 year old, who revealed that he had been the victim of online trolling, has been begging Vanessa to get back with him and told The Mirror that he had “betrayed” the love of his life.
Adding that he was “so, so sorry”, Ben admitted that he had pleaded with Vanessa to give him another shot, but found himself out in the cold when she blocked him.
Vanessa hasn’t publicly addressed Ben’s infidelity, but revealed on her Talk TV show that she had felt “humiliated” by the split, but thanked her fans and friends for their messages of support.
The 60 year old went on to say that, “I really do feel that once the trust in a relationship is gone, you can’t really get it back.”
