I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Nella Rose has revealed the real reason behind her feud with her campmate, Fred Sirieix.
On Wednesday, Nella finally spoke out about her time in the jungle, revealing on This Morning that she's "living her best life" since leaving the show, and addressed her fall out with Fred, explaining it was all a misunderstanding.
The 26 year old social media sensation was the second person to leave the show, after Frankie Dettori.
Despite being a major talking point during her time in the camp, Nella's exit came as a surprise.
She had faced many of the Bushtucker Trials and had also dealt with some personal losses, including the passing of her father in 2020 and her mother when she was just 19.
In the jungle, the popular YouTuber had a bit of a tiff with First Dates star Fred. She explained to the Bush Telegraph: "Last night after dinner Fred made a comment about him basically how he could be my dad. I took offence to that because one of the first conversations we had together was me opening up about the fact that my dad's passed away."
On Wednesday's episode of This Morning, Nella clarified: "I haven't been able to watch anything back yet but I know everything that has gone on. I know everything that has happened and, honestly, It was a big fat misunderstanding."
She added: "We've gone over it, me and Fred are cool, everything is blessed. I don't know why everyone is still crying about it, but… I understand, it's TV, it's life! In the jungle, everything is intensified. Obviously, that subject, is very triggering for me because it's kind of like a fresh wound but obviously, being inside the jungle, all events are intensified. It is what it is."
Before she left the jungle, Nella got a chance to have a little fun at Fred's expense. She confessed: "I mean, in the jungle, the little bits of drama that happen are honestly EastEnders. Your little bits of entertainment, if there was any way I could have stirred the pot, just to make things fun? This is just who I am!"
Nella, when asked by host Rylan Clark if she had any regrets, responded: "I don't think there's anything I would change because honestly with me what you see is what you get and I will always stay true to myself. I'm just Nella, I'm like Marmite you either love me or hate me."
Nella decided not to appear on ITV daytime for the usual 'morning after' chat that axed campmates have done for years. Lorraine Kelly mentioned Nella's decision on her show, saying Nella was "not talking to anybody this morning" after leaving the jungle, which she called "a shame".
Later in the show, Lorraine added: "She was gonna join us this morning but she's decided not to give any interviews today, but we may catch up with her later."
During her exit interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Nella spoke about her disagreements with Fred, who left the show on Tuesday, and Nigel Farage.
Talking about her clashes with them early in the series, she said: "Oh my god, you used everything. I am not usually put in situations where people don't have opinions in the same walk of life."
"So when they have different mindsets, and I hear them, I'm shocked because I'm not used to hearing people think like this. So automatically, you have to say something about it because what they've said to me it's kind of shocking sometimes. But it is what it is."
