Prince Albert’s daughter Jazmin Grimaldi shares unseen snaps of Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques on their 9th birthday – after Princess Charlene’ deleted her account to protect her children’s privacy

Jazmin Grimaldi has celebrated her ‘sibling love’ with her younger half siblings by sharing a series of unseen snaps to Instagram to mark their ninth birthday.

The California-based actress, 31, who is Prince Albert of Monaco’s ‘illegitimate’ daughter with Tamara Rotolo, took to Instagram to share unseen photographs of Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

The post comes after Princess Charlene’s decision to delete her Instagram account to protect the privacy of her children and keep them away from the ‘pressure’ of life in the public eye for as long as possible.

However, Jazmin – who’s had a series of small film parts – took to social media to share a selection of personal images with the children to her 35 thousand followers.

Prince Albert’s son Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste – Albert’s oldest son with Nicole Coste, 52, a former Air France flight attendant from Togo, also featured in the birthday tribute post.

Taking to Instagram, Jazmin wrote: ‘Happy 9th Birthday to my Brother Jacques and my Sister Gabriella! Swipe for more sibling love!’

The first image showed an official portrait of the twins previously shared by the Palace of Monaco’s Instagram page.

Princess Gabriella donned a chic navy coat which featured a medal on the lapel, and she completed the look with a matching beret.

Her twin brother looked smart in a military style uniform blazer which was paired with navy trousers.

Next, Jazmin shared a snap of her with the twins on what seems like a summer’s day out.

Jacques was holding on to a Sonic the hedgehog toy while Gabriella huddled next to Jazmin with a smile on her face.

The final image showed the twins, Jazmin, and Alexandre, on a family day out. The siblings smiled for a photograph on a bench with their arms around one another.

Princess Gabriella Thérèse Marie and Prince Jacques Honoré Rainier were born on December 10, 2014, by caesarean section at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.

Jazmin, who is a trained opera singer, is the little-known daughter of Prince Albert II of Monaco and American real estate agent Tamara Rotolo.

A DNA test in May 2006 confirmed Albert was the father of Jazmin Grace, the result of an affair with Tamara Rotolo, an American estate agent he met while she was on holiday in the South of France.

Her mother, then a waitress, had a fling with the monarch back in 1991, while on vacation.

Born in Palm Springs and raised in Palm Desert and Orange County, Jazmin had a childhood characterized by a conspicuous normalcy.

She got straight A’s through Catholic school, played the forward position on her middle school’s basketball team, and, also like her grandmother, displayed an early appetite for the stage, performing with her church choir and in school plays.

However she did not connect meet her father until she was 11 and visited Monaco for the first time. It was, she says, a moment that would redefine their relationship forever.

‘I wanted that moment to connect with my father, to get to know him, and to have him get to know me,’ Jazmin said in 2015.

‘Not having had that figure around, I missed that. It’s wonderful that it happened when it did, and we’ve been enjoying a great relationship ever since.’

Now a real estate agent, Tamara took Jazmin to California with her and she only met her father aged 11.

In August last year, Jazmin revealed her close relationship with Albert’s second love child Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste as she marked his 18th birthday in a sweet Instagram post.

She previously shared a series of Instagram posts from her half-brother’s birthday party, writing: ‘It’s a celebration. Happy birthday my little brother Alexandre!’

An operatically trained singer, Jazmin sang with a friend’s band in college, before launching her solo career with a cabaret-style showcase, Fall in Love With Jaz, at Manhattan’s Duplex Theatre.

But she is also a frequent visitor to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco, her family’s 235-room historic fortress on the French Riviera.

Photographer Michael Avedon, whose late grandfather Richard photographed Grace Kelly, shot Jazmin there for her Harper’s Bazaar spread, which saw her model a series of outfits that ooze old Hollywood glamour.
