Kevin Hart announced that his father, Henry Witherspoon, died in a touching tribute thanking him for “everything” he’s done.

“RIP to one of the realest & rawest to ever do it…Love you dad,” the comedian wrote in the caption of a series of Instagram photos of himself with his late dad on Wednesday. “Gone but never forgotten.”

Hart, who lost his mother, Nancy Hart, to ovarian cancer in 2007, added, “Give mom a hug for me….y’all did good man.”

The actor, 43, shared how grateful he was for everything Witherspoon taught him, adding that he was a “better father” to his own kids because of the patriarch.

“Thank you for everything….I’m a better father because of you 😢💪🏾🙏🏾 We will all make you proud,” he wrote.

Hart also shared another post in which he was seen smiling beside his father, who appeared to have breathing tubes in his nose.

“RIP spoon …..😢🙏🏾,” he captioned the post on Wednesday.

Several of Hart’s famous friends flooded the comments section with well-wishes and loving messages to support the grieving star.

“Blessings bro. Love to you and the fam,” Hasan Minhaj commented on the heartbreaking post.

“Sorry Kev. Sending you and your family lots of love.❤️🙏🏾,” Wanda Sykes wrote.

“Oh, sorry, Kev. He wouldn’t have left you before he knew you were good. ❤️,” Chelsea Handler added.

“So sorry Kev. Love you. Keep making them proud brother,” Marlon Wayans commented.
