Lily James swaps blonde hair for chic new cinnamon bob as Charlotte Tilbury model

Lily James is so beautiful we didn’t think it was possible for her to have a glow-up – but dammit, she’s managed it anyway. The Pam & Tommy actress has unwrapped a new hair, make-up and nails look in time for Christmas, and the whole thing is a beauty masterpiece.

In stunning new Insta snaps posted by her glam squad, Lily is now sporting a gorgeous long bob in what has to be the shade of the season: a super-shiny cinnamon spice. The cut itself should be held up as and taught in a masterclass on golden ratio mathematics, from the longer pieces that frame her jawline at the perfect point, to the softly textured ends that skim her collarbones so artfully.

And what a canvas it’s framing. Lily is giving us a sneak peek at Charlotte Tilbury’s upcoming Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter in Champagne Glow, and the effect is rightly described as “breathtaking” by the A-list make-up artist. The waitlist for Glow Glide is right here – and if it can get us even 1% closer to Lily’s glam, it’s definitely worth a click.

Lily’s radiant skin and her hair colour is perfectly complemented by a coppery smokey eye, winged liner, brushed-up brows. and petal-pink pouty lips, created by Charlotte’s make-up artist niece Sophia. Or in Tilbury speak, that’s “sultry Hollywood GLAMOUR”. Yes it is, DARLINGS!

Even the tiniest details of her look are flawless. Personally, we’ll be screenshotting a close-up of her Michelle Class manicure – a French delicately tipped with diamante – and hoping the local nail bar can squeeze us in before Christmas.

The hair is the work of celeb hairdresser Christian Wood, who was quickly flooded with compliments on the look. ““Omg Her hair!! Gorgeous” one admirer posted, while another speaks for all of us by posing the big question: “The colors are insane please can you share the products and numbers used. I want that exact color.”

Unfortunately, as Christian himself isn’t responsible for the hair colour, we can’t share that intel. However if you’re tempted to jump on the copper trend yourself, we’ve gleaned these tips from Headmasters colour ambassador Sian Quinn.

“Copper has a variety of tones such as auburn, bright copper, strawberry blonde and burnt orange. This means it is wearable by all skin tones,” she says. “Have your stylist give you a colour consultation to help select the right tone. At Headmasters all colour services are bespoke.”

“If you're new to colour, opt for a balayage contour,” she advises. “Your stylist will select ribbons of hair around the front of your face to enhance and complement your features.

"For those opting for a bolder copper colour transformation, opt for a full head balayage. This will allow your coloursist to carefully hand pain sections of your hair to add depth and texture.”
