A London studio flat has hit the market with an eye-watering price tag of £1,300 a month – but you’ll have to get used to cooking in a rather unusual kitchen.

The property on Musjid Road, south west London, just five minutes from Clapham Junction station, offers a prime location for an easy commute into the city and comes with everything a potential tenant could need if you’re willing to fork up the cash.

Despite the high rent, you’ll have a very tiny living space.

In fact, the studio is so small the ‘discrete’ kitchen has been hidden away inside a cupboard.

Granted this could boast as a fun surprise for guests confused as to where you cook your food.

Kitchen: the studio is so compact, its kitchen (pictured) is tucked away in a cupboard. It boasts an integrated sink, hotplate, fridge, and washing machine

For sleeping, there is a mezzanine, which boasts a large skylight – the standout feature of the compact home

Although it is hidden away, the unit does come with an integrated sink, hotplate, fridge, and washing machine.

The sleeping area also doubles as storage space, with bunk-bed-style stairs leading up to a platform with space for a mattress.

While the kitchen and ‘bedroom’ leaves much to be desired, the wet room seems to be a little nicer.

Found just off the main room, it includes a shower, toilet and an unusual, yet interesting-looking basin.

The flat is listed on OpenRent and has the potential to be a cosy – albeit snug – flat for an open-minded tenant.

However, bills are not included, barring water, and the deposit is £1,500.

You also have to provide three months’ bank statements, employer references, and proof of employment to cover the rental period.
