Love Island’s Lana Jenkins’ life off screen including very famous ex and TV role

Lana Jenkins had a pretty glamorous and star studded life even before heading into the famous Love Island villa.

The 25 year old make-up artist, who is based in Luton, previously dated Hollyoaks and I’m A Celeb runner up Owen Warner and is even good mates with actress Michelle Keegan.

Owen, 23, says that whilst he won’t be watching his ex as it’s just too “weird” but did wish her luck and said she would “smash it.”

Lana shared that the pair had a “lockdown relationship” that only lasted a few months, but added that she tried her best to avoid catching his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! last year.

The 25 year old’s celeb ex was revealed to the villa during a game of Never Have I Ever and left her then partner Ron Hall, 25, feeling more than a little insecure.

Chatting with Lana afterwards, Ron joked: “So basically, I’m competing with someone who’s just come runner up on a massive show who’s an actor and I work in finance. Yeah, um, sick. This is great.”

Lana and Ron later hit the rocks and she’s now coupled up with recruitment consultant Casey O’Gorman, while he’s stuck in a friendship couple with hairdresser Tanyel Revan.

However, the estranged couple look like they may yet be heading for a reconciliation as Lana admitted she may have made a mistake by not picking Ron in the most recent recoupling.

But Owen Warner isn’t the only celeb Lana has been associated with as she’s thought to be pals with Michelle Keegan.

Ahead of her entry into the villa, Michelle wished Lana luck, writing on her social media: “so our girl @Lanajenkins is going into Love Island. Genuinely one of the nicest girls you’ll ever meet. Go and smash it darlin.”

Lana, who grew up in Spain and speaks fluent Spanish, has never been far from the spotlight and her family grew up very close to the set of Benidorm.

As a child, Lana even secured a small role on the show’s first ever episode which aired back in 2007 but says she’s not interested in pursuing an acting career.

Before heading into the villa, Lana said that she would be doing “no more acting work” and explained that her appearance on Benidorm was “literally like one second and you will miss it.”

However, she did confess that her family do sometimes dig up the tape and force her to watch it!

Although she’s not keen to give acting another go, Lana is still a regular on TV sets through her work as a freelance makeup artist and clearly isn’t camera shy when it comes to finding love!
