Love Island’s Zara McDermott shows off lavish cinema room bar at £1m home

Whatever you think of Love Island, one thing cannot be disputed – if you have a successful stint, chances are, you’re going to end up rich. Very rich.

Just look at Molly-Mae Hague. Finishing as a runner up in 2019, the new mum is now the creative director of Pretty Little Thing, and has a combined net worth, with her partner Tommy Fury, thought to be over £9million.

Then there’s the most recent winner, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. After triumphing in 2022 with her partner Davide Sanclimenti, she bagged a £1million deal with fashion brand Oh Polly. While that has now fallen through, she’s still in the big bucks, as she and Davide were granted their own reality show, Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings.

As of now, her current net worth still stands at a reportedly impressive £1.6 million.

See, the stats are there, people.

Former Islander Zara McDermott is another reality star who has proven this theory.

The presenter and documentary maker is no stranger to sharing her lavish life on social media, and regularly post snaps of her enjoying luxury holidays or posing inside her £1 million London home.

Most recently, she’s given fans a glimpse into her home cinema room – specifically her new bar set-up that’s dedicated to providing fancy refreshments while enjoying a film.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the 26 year old shared a photo with her 1.7 million followers, captioning the post: “mirror in for the cinema room bar.”

The shot in question looks like something you’d expect from a fancy London cocktail bar, with rows of spirits lined up on shelves, complete with different kinds of elegant glassware.

Other notable mentions include a cocktail shaker, a mint plant for garnishing, and even bowls of sweets for the ultimate finishing touches.

As well as the mirror addition to the already very swanky room, the cinema bar also features LED lighting to add some brightness to the drinks corner. Erm, can we grab an invite, please?

After gushing over her bar, the TV personality then joked that the only reason she and her boyfriend, Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson designed the room was to make his best pal, TOWIE star Pete Wicks, hang out with them.

“We basically made this room to force @p_wicks01 to spend more time us [laughing face emoji,” she added.

Immediately fills in application to become Zara and Sam’s best mates.
