Marks and Spencer has brought out the perfect £27 flattering spring dress

There’s nothing better than getting your wardrobe ready for spring. From floral dresses to lighter jackets, getting yourself prepared for some warmer weather always gives you a mood boost.

If you’re looking for the perfect transitional dress to wear all through spring, Marks and Spencer have got you covered. The high street fashion retailer is known for its flattering and comfortable clothes, and its latest midi dress has got shoppers raving about how good it is.

The Jersey Printed Belted Midi Tea Dress,£27.50 here, is perfect for transitional dressing. The longer length and three quarter length sleeves will help keep you warm against the spring chill, but the dress is also light and floaty enough to be comfortable as the temperature starts to heat up.

The voluminous sleeves and belted waist also help give the dress a lovely flattering fit, something many shoppers have been raving about. One five star reviewer said: "Lovely dress, wasn't expecting it to be so nice for the price tag. Stretchy fabric and so comfortable it's a dress that I will wear often. Casual but could certainly be dressed up. Would definitely buy this style again, a very flattering fit."

The spring-ready dress is available in two different prints; a bright green colour with a black and white floral print, and a sage green colour with a white diamond print, also£27.50 here, both of which offer classic style and can be dressed up or down for plenty of different occasions.

Another of M&S’s easy-to-wear wardrobe staples, the dress is a regular fit with added stretch and is made from 95% responsibly sourced viscose, which makes it super breathable and comfortable to wear.

The knee-length dress is available in sizes 8-20 in the petite length, 6-24 in the regular length, and 8-22 in the long length, so you can find a fit that works for you. For just £27.50, buyers have been impressed with the quality of the dress, not to mention thrilled at how versatile both the style and print is.

One reviewer said: "I love the simplicity of this dress. It just slips on without fastenings, it has a plain rounded neckline and an easy-going skirt. When summer comes I know I'll wear it a lot."

The dress is also incredibly easy to style, with the Marks and Spencer website showing it paired with some flat sandals and a simple handbag – perfect for a spring evening outdoors or a sunny trip to the beach. However, the shape and prints are versatile enough that you could easily throw on a pair of heels and swap the handbag for a clutch and wear it out to dinner or an event.

The Jersey Printed Belted Midi Tea Dress,£27.50 here, is available both in store and online in both colourways.
