It's moving week for Maya Jama! The 29 year old presenter – who fans are convinced is taking her relationship with Stormzy to the next level – just took to Instagram to share with her 3 million followers that she's purchased a new home and will be moving in over the next few days. And in doing so, gave fans a sneak peek into the sprawling property.
The Love Island host dropped a video to her stories of her looking super casual, dressed in a supreme bomber jacket, a pair of mom jeans and a baseball cap as she viewed the house. Maya captioned the video: "Moving in to the new house I bought this week. I don't think I'll ever be a house Insta person but wanted to share the tiniest bit with you."
During the footage, Maya showed off the first floor hallway, which features light wooden flooring, white walls and spotlights – the combination making the space feel open and airy. While Maya noted that she was yet to decorate, she did add that she liked the "chair spot" in the corner of the landing.
To expand, the area was complete with a SKIMS style teddy bear textured chair and a matching footstool, plus an avant garde standing lamp and quirky table. As the camera panned in different directions, viewers were then met with a huge bookshelf built into the walls.
Maya shared another video showing off the area further, which inadvertently displayed a cat travel carrier at the end of the hallway. However, the TV star was quick to address that she doesn't have a kitten, and that the decor and everything shown in the footage was the previous owner's.
Despite this, she did express her love once more that the corner chair area, and subsequently asked fans for advice on how to make the space her own.
The video cut to a different angle again, giving fans a view of a huge skylight on the ceiling before heading off from the bookshelf wall into a small area that resembled an office space slash extra wardrobe room.
The raised platform featured the same wooden flooring as the hallway as well as sleek black sliding cupboards that revealed plenty of storage space. To the left, viewers were greeted with two floor to ceiling windows that let in a huge amount of natural light.
While Maya said herself that she likely won't be creating her own home renovation Instagram account reminiscent of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright, hopefully, we get to see more glimpses in the future of what she does to the place. Because we can imagine Maya's interior taste is *chef's kiss.*
