McDonald’s is slashing the price of two fan favourite items TOMORROW

McDonald’s has delighted fans by announcing they are slashing the price of two fan favourites from tomorrow.

From Bank Holiday Monday, the The Double McMuffin will be available for just £1.19, down from £3.49, at all UK stores. 

Then from 11am, customers can grab a Filet-o-Fish for two-thirds of the original price at £1.39. 

Both deals are available exclusively via the McDonald’s App.

For breakfast, the Double McMuffin, will be on sale at almost half the price, with a mouthwatering saving of £1.90. 

From tomorrow, The Double McMuffin (left) will be available for just £1.19, down from £3.49. Then from 11am, customers can grab a Filet-o-Fish (right) for two thirds of the price at £1.39 

For lunch or dinner, customers can treat themselves to the mighty Filet-o-Fish for two thirds of the price at £1.39, down from the regular price of £4.49. 

The classic burger combines a crispy battered fish patty with refreshing tartar sauce and melted cheese. 

Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week’s offers will get you 119 points when grabbing a Double McMuffin and 139 points when picking up a Filet-o-Fish.

There are some amazing rewards available for customers to treat themselves to when point milestones are hit.

When customers reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, a regular Cold Soft Drink or a Side Salad. With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger, Vegetable Deluxe or Apple Pie is on the cards.

With 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets, a Big Mac or Filet-O-Fish.

Finally, with the brand-new 5,500 points milestone, customers can choose from a Mighty McMuffin, a McSpicy, a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a McCrispy.


Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards 

There is also an option for customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to charities including FareShare, to support the company’s commitment to reducing food poverty and waste in the UK.

All deals are exclusively available on the McDonald’s App and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store here, signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5am-11am, and McDonald’s lunchtime menu is available from 11am daily.

It comes after McDonald’s announced its updated summer menu, with six additions arriving to stores across the UK.

The fast-food giant is revamped its menu for summer, which started at the begining of this month.

The twist on the chain’s first ever permanent chicken burger is made with a 100% chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a tantalising combination of hot and spicy mayo, with the addition of cheese and bacon for extra flavour.

The McCrispy Deluxe will set you back £6.09 as an individual order, £7.79 for an Extra Value Meal.

The BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese is a reimagined take on the classic burger and it features a 100 per cent beef patty topped with the brand’s smokey BBQ sauce.

The burger is available to buy on its own for just £4.29, or as part of an Extra Value Meal for just £5.99.

You can also double the goodness with the BBQ Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, which costs £5.49 individually and £7.19 for an Extra Value Meal.

Meanwhile, fast food lovers can get their hands on a box of five cheesy bites for just £2.29, or a sharebox for just £6.49.

The Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry, which is £1.99 for a full-size, and £1.49 for a mini-size, is soft dairy ice cream swirled with Galaxy pieces and topped with a salted caramel sauce.
