MCDONALD'S is set to launch huge discounts never seen on its menus before – but be careful before you order because there's a catch.

The fast food giant is a popular choice for people on the go with more than 1,200 restaurants in the UK.

McDonald's has gained a loyal army of fans who flock to the restaurants for bargain-priced burgers and meals.

Customers can also sign up for MyMcDonald's Rewards which allows you to earn, redeem points and access exclusive discounts.

Tomorrow (September 18), Maccies fans can enjoy 15% off its entire menu in a huge deal that's never been seen before.

From breakfast classics such as the McMuffin to lunch and dinner staples like cripsy Chicken McNuggets and the juicy Big Mac, customers can bag items they love for less.

But it's important to note that you will need to spend £8 to qualify for the 15% discount and you will have to order through the app.

You will be able to see the deal in the "offers" section of McDonald’s app and it will be available from midnight.

Plus, the discount can only be applied once, so make sure you buy everything you want in one order.

Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

Both deals are only available on the McDonald’s App, and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store,

You can sign up sign up for free and opt into the MyMcDonald’s Rewards scheme.

The scheme means every penny spent equals one point, so this week’s offers will get you at least 600 points.

It comes just days after McDonald's Monopoly returned again for another year. You can see the full list of prizes available this year.

How can I save on my McDonald's order?

There are plenty of ways you can save on your next trip to McDonald's.

You should choose your branch wisely – menu prices can vary across different restaurants just a couple of miles apart.

We've seen Big Mac meals up to 30p cheaper before, which added up over the course of a year could save you a fair few pounds.

You can also get freebies on your birthday if you've got the My McDonald's app.

Remember to log your date of birth on the app though, otherwise you'll miss out.

All you'll need is your receipt which should have been issued no more than 60 days after your visit.

A 12-digit code will be printed on the proof of purchase and then you can enter the McDonald's Food for Thought website to fill out a quick survey.
