McDonald’s set to offer huge discount on TWO of its popular menu items (but it’s for one day only!)

It might not be everybody’s favourite day – but there’s a special treat in store for fast food lovers on Monday.
McDonald’s UK has revealed that they are offering huge discounts on two delicious fan favourites for one day only on 18 December.
The Single McMuffin and the Big Mac will be slashed to £1.19 and £1.49 respectively.
The 24-hour deal extends to the Sausage and Egg McMuffin, Bacon and Egg McMuffin and Egg and Cheese McMuffin, which typically cost between £3.19 and £3.59.
Once the breakfast menu comes to end at 11am, the Big Mac will be up for grabs.

The classic McDonalds burger usually costs £4.59, but will only cost £1.49.
Both deals are available exclusively via the McDonald’s App. Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into My McDonald’s Rewards.
Every penny spent on the McDonald’s App gains customers one Rewards point.
This means those cashing in on Monday’s deals will earn 119 points for a Single McMuffin and 149 points for a Big Mac.
Loyal customers can access rewards when they hit certain milestones on the app.

When customers earn 1,500 points, they can choose between free menu items including: small Fries, a Hash Brown, a regular Cold Soft Drink or a Side Salad.
With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger, Vegetable Deluxe or Apple Pie becomes available.
With 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets®, a Big Mac® or Filet-O-Fish®.
And if they hit the 5,500 points milestone, customers can choose from a Mighty McMuffin®, a McSpicy ®, a Double Quarter Pounder® with Cheese or a McCrispy®.
There’s also the opportunity for Rewards customers to donate the cash equivalent of their points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
