Megan Fox praises talented Sophie Lloyd after squashing MGK cheating rumors

Megan Fox is publicly praising Sophie Lloyd after squashing rumors that Machine Gun Kelly cheated with the guitarist.

After re-activating her Instagram on Sunday, Fox commented on the “insanely talented” musician’s latest Instagram upload.

“How me making a joke in order to absolve this girl of a hurtful accusation somehow turned into a confirmation of it — I will never understand,” the “Jennifer’s Body” star, 36, wrote. “Why are people so….so dumb.”

“Welcome to Hollywood. Your first unwarranted PR disaster,” she continued. “You have now been baptized by the flames of fame. It only gets worse from here unfortunately.”

Fox advised the 26-year-old to “just ignore it as much as you can,” concluding, “Middle finger up.”

Lloyd replied, “The internet is so wild! Sending so much love.”

Fox sparked speculation last week that she and MGK were on the rocks with cryptic Instagram behavior.

“You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath,” the actress captioned a since-deleted slideshow featuring a photo of a letter burning in a bonfire.

When an Instagram user asked whether MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, “got with Sophie,” Fox clapped back, “Maybe I got with Sophie.”

Shortly after the social media interaction, the “Transformers” star deleted her account altogether.

When she returned to the platform over the weekend, Fox denied “any … third party interference” in her relationship with the 32-year-old rocker.

“While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now,” she told her followers.

Fox and the Grammy nominee have been together since 2020, getting engaged two years later.

Although the duo arrived and exited in separate cars, they were spotted sharing a vehicle on Valentine’s Day.

The couple haven’t spoken to the status of their relationship, with MGK refraining from engaging on social media since Feb. 11.

The rocker’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

As for Lloyd, her spokesperson told us in a statement Wednesday that she is a “professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media.”
