A mom-of-two has revealed that she created a ‘boob cast’ to remember her size 44E boobs after undergoing a breast reduction transformation.

Annie Anderson, 49, a maternity nurse from California, started suffering from her big cup size as a teenager, when she claims boys used to grope her and make sexual comments.

Growing up, she focused on trying to hide her body as she ‘hated’ the way she looked, and turned to eating in a bid to find comfort, and soon started to gain weight.

Annie (shown after procedure) decided to seek professional advice and ultimately, have them reduced to a size 42C, but had a boob cast made prior to her procedure to remember them by

She and her husband, Rob, 52, used to love going to amusement parks – but she was unfortunately unable to go on a lot of the rides as she claimed her chest was too big for most safety harnesses.

She also developed itchy rashes under her breasts – and eventually became fed up with all of the problems.

In 2012, Annie decided to seek professional advice and ultimately had them reduced; now, she’s celebrating her ‘unrecognizable’ transformation and is in awe of the results.

‘It was shocking – I lived with those breasts my entire life and they were massive,’ she told NeedToKnow.online recently.

‘It’s a total mind f**k to have your body change overnight and, in my eyes, I don’t see myself as I am.’

Although Annie is now celebrating her transformation, the road to get there wasn’t easy.

‘I had my first consult with a plastic surgeon in 2012 and at that time, very few surgeons were doing plus-size surgeries.

‘They wanted me to lose 50 pounds and maintain that loss for over a year before surgery. I lost, but gained [this weight] over and over again.

‘I had doctors tell me I likely had PCOS, which can cause obesity and make it hard to maintain weight loss.

‘However, I found a surgeon who didn’t even talk about my weight and didn’t deny me because of my BMI.

‘He looked at all the risk factors in order to make a decision and for me, my obesity and age were the only risks.’

After her breast reduction, Annie’s life drastically changed; she found herself no longer facing the struggles she had previously endured while having a larger cup size.

She explained: ‘[Before] buying dresses or swim suits was always difficult, because if it fit my chest, then it was too big for my lower half.

‘I could never wear the cute sundresses I wanted to because I could never go without a bra and a strapless one didn’t hold me up enough.

‘Practically every shirt I owned had a stain on the chest [as well] because it was like eating with a shelf in the way.

‘Most exercise was painful and embarrassing and I’ve never been able to jog or run. It’s unbelievable the pain we cause ourselves, all while pretending to be OK.’

In March 2022, she booked herself in for the procedure – which didn’t cost her a penny, as her employer provided health insurance paid for the entire reduction. But her recovery hasn’t been easy.

‘My body tends to react to the sutures instead of dissolving them and the recovery was complicated due to delayed wound healing,’ she said.

‘They say it will be up to a year before I will see and feel the final results – but I’ve been cleared to wear underwire bras once again and can go without if I’d like.

‘I still have swelling and major bloating by the end of the day, but my back, neck and shoulder pain are gone.

‘I’m already way more consistently active than I was before the surgery and I walk or swim most days.’

She’s recently been measured for a new bra and currently sports a 42C cup size – with the doctor claiming he removed 2.5 pounds from each breast.

In a bid to ‘preserve’ her old body, she decided to throw a ‘goodbye’ party and create a cast of their previous size.

Annie (shown after procedure) said: ‘I left my cast with plans to decorate it and a few months later, when I held the cast up to my body, I couldn’t believe the change’

Annie (pictured after breast reduction) added she is happier than ever but that she has to see before and after photos ‘side by side’ to realize the ‘drastic’ difference

Annie shared: ‘I thought it would be fun to get together with some girlfriends and drink champagne to say goodbye to my giant breasts to honor them, as they have served me well.

‘They got me lots of attention over the years, got me into clubs and nourished my babies – as well as distracting people from looking at my belly. They weren’t all bad and we had a blast that day.

‘My friend ordered the plaster cast kits and [they] agreed to do theirs so I would be more comfortable.

‘I left my cast with plans to decorate it and a few months later, when I held the cast up to my body, I couldn’t believe the change.

‘I have to see photos side-by-side to realize the drastic difference – it’s all happened so fast.’

Annie also decided to upload a video of her dancing with the cast – which has racked up three million views and 72,000 likes.

In the clip, she began with a photo of her holding up the cast of her old breasts while smiling at the camera.

As she posed for multiple photos, she revealed a ‘sideways’ shot of her breasts now next to the the cast – showing off the huge difference. In a final goodbye, she danced with the mold and grinned gleefully.

Someone else said: ‘I had a reduction too and it was the BEST decision I have ever made for myself!’

‘If I can get one I’m doing this,’ commented another viewer.

‘That’s awesome, I have a pic from before, but I wish I had done a cast,’ said someone else.

‘I would so do this, super jealous! Love it for you though!,’ commented another user.

Annie doesn’t regret one part of her decision – and wishes she had the procedure done sooner.

She concluded: ‘I spent way too many years hating my body and living with daily pain.

‘[Now], I get so many compliments on my appearance and most people are extremely supportive.

‘The whole body positivity movement helps with acceptance and I’m still a plus-size woman, I’m just shaped differently and a whole lot more comfortable in my own skin. I’m learning to love myself, finally.’
