‘I thought maybe they were gonna warn of us of maybe some construction they’re doing or something, but no, no.’

She clarifies ‘This letter was specifically for me. I’m going to read it to you now – I want you to put yourself in my shoes as I read this for you.

‘Okay, here we go: ‘Dear resident, I’m sorry to have to write you on such a sensitive subject but I felt it appropriate to make you aware that your bathroom window can easily be viewed from our nursery playground.

‘In the circumstances, we wondered if you could consider purchasing a blind for the window to avoid embarrassment on behalf of either yourself or our children.

‘Sincerely, and then the principals name – I literally, when I read this I was like, I had no idea that they were able to see in.’

The TikToker frantically said ‘I don’t know what they’ve seen, I don’t know how often they’ve seen it.

‘I was so embarrassed leaving the house because I have to like face the school.

‘How much did they have to see before they sent me this? How much? How often? Where? When?’

She clarifies ‘This letter was specifically for me. I’m going to read it to you now – I want you to put yourself in my shoes as I read this for you’

‘I was flabbergasted when I read this this morning and I was like right I guess I can never leave my house again because they know it’s me.

‘They know it’s me, they wrote my house number down and put it through my letterbox while I was asleep.’

Adding ‘My God, I’m like the ugly naked guy from Friends – that’s me. Do you think they have a name for me?

‘I guess it’s like a little bit funny. I mean I’ll never be opening my blinds again, I’ll tell you that, but to the principal, you’re welcome. That’s all for today, I’m sorry to the school next door.’

Someone who claims to be a teacher at the school took to the comments to explain.

She wrote ‘I’m a teacher. They ignored it for awhile. Someone went home and told their parents. The parents called. It was a whole deal.’

Another joked ‘that one male teacher’s wife found out and complained’.

Some viewers were confused, with one commenting ‘I don’t understand. If there’s nothing on a window, people can see inside as easily as you can see outside.’

Meg clarified ‘It’s a textured glass. Apparently you can’t see out but you can see in’.

Another added ‘I had a friend who had textured glass that you couldn’t see out of…but turn on the light and you can from the outside!,’ to which she responded ‘This is my issue I think’.

One viewer said ‘Oh they definitely have a name for you. It’s the most exciting topic of convo in the teacher’s lounge’.

Someone complained ‘Who doesn’t cover their bathroom windows? So odd,’ meanwhile another joked ‘They won’t recognize you, you’ll be clothed when you step out’.
