Vabbing has recently taken social media by storm – and no, not vaping like this one mum first thought.

Move aside electronic cigarette devices, we are on about the risqué measures single women are going to so they can secure a date.

To ‘vab’ is for a woman to dab her vaginal fluid on her pulse points in hopes to attract a man – essentially working like a personalised perfume.

Despite some women having tested vabbing in public and having claimed the unusual dating method worked, others are not so convinced.

And, mum Cat has some strong words on the matter – she even struggled to get them out.

Posting to her joint TikTok account she shares with fellow mum and best friend, Nat, Cat sat in her garden to offer her verdict on vabbing.

In the clip that has racked up 352,000 views, Cat shared: “You might be hearing the word ‘vabbing’ going around, I thought it was just misspelt ‘vaping’ – oh no."

“Here’s what the young people are doing, f***ing idiots.

“Ok, that’s mean but honest to god you have to be f***ing kidding me. Like come on, what’s wrong with people.”

Cat then shared a screenshot from the outlandish site, Urban Dictionary.

The definition explained: “A new TikTok trend where women take their discharge and put it behind their ears on their neck in attempt to make someone fall in love with them or to get laid.”

“I don’t even have words”, Steph expressed.

Equally stunned by the act of vabbing, many people fled to the comments to slam the risqué attraction technique.

One person commented: “I literally saw this the other day, absolutely not.”

Another user added: “The woman was too stunned to speak.”

While a third person voiced: “I thought the same as you and then couldn’t believe what I just read when I Googled it.”

Someone else fretted: “People can do what they want with their bodies… with that being said I will no longer be getting anywhere near another human ever again.”

But someone who is not afraid to vab is plus size influencer Jewlieah, who put vabbing to the test – at the gym.

“You guys aren’t going to believe me. But it worked – the vabbing worked.

“I was doing lunges on the treadmill and this guy comes up next to me. No one else was standing that close to me but he stood on the treadmill like right next to me.

“I was sweating like crazy because I was working out. But then he turned to me and asked me a stupid question, I can’t remember what it was.

She continued: “He was just shooting his shot and was trying to break the ice, that’s completely fine.

“Anyways, he asked me out and we exchanged numbers and I may well see him this week."
