A new personality test vows to determine whether you are more logical or creative in your thought process, based on whether you perceive a hidden detail in a mind-boggling picture.

The brainteaser has garnered more than 44,000 views on TikTok to date and invites viewers to find challenge their eyes with some mind-bending imagery.

It comes from @psychologylove100, a renowned optical illusion enthusiast who has built a following of 345,000 user with his psychology tests.

“What does your subconscious reveal?”, the creator asks in the clip. “If you observed a rock and boat during the visual test, it means that your thoughts are more questioning and analogical.”

These people often tend to ponder the deeper meaning of life and question their “raison d’être” as well as that of others around them.

“You have the impression that people don’t really understand you because of your various questions,” added the psychologist. “You’re also an anxious person so you’re constantly wondering about your past but especially your future.”

Furthermore, these characters dread the future for fear that it won’t live up to their expectations. They also have an ingrained fear that their hopes won’t materialise.

“You’re terrified of failing and not being able to realise all your plans, so much so that you sometimes hesitate to accomplish certain tasks,” noted the TikToker.

Meanwhile, some eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted a gorilla depicted in the rock structure, highlighting another key personality trait.

“If you’re one of those who saw the gorilla in the visual test it means your thoughts are creative,” explained @psychologylove100. “You have a vivid imagination and love to explore it.”

These people tend to retain their childlike as they grow older, explaining why they “always add a little whacky flair to the tasks” they perform.

The TikToker added: “Your ideas are often groundbreaking yet relevant. Your imagination doesn’t prevent you from keeping a clear head.

Baffled by the accuracy of the test, commentators flocked to the comment section to share their results and praise the psychologist for his detailed analysis.

“But why is this always true about me,” wrote one person, while another penned: “love it spot on!!!”
