OnlyFans has been around since 2016 but during the Covid-19 pandemic the popularity of the site skyrocketed.
The subscription platform was created with the intention of allowing all types of creators to make money on their content by charging their followers a subscription fee. But while there are now an array of creators on the site, its fame has largely been credited to the sex workers who use the platform to share explicit content.
As a result, OnlyFans has now amassed over 150million registered users and 1.5million content creators. But it's not stopping there, in an attempt to give creators more opportunities OnlyFans launched a new platform that's also seeing success, but this one differs from the main site in one key way.

What is OFTV on OnlyFans?
OFTV stands for OnlyFans TV and is a streaming platform that has been released by OnlyFans.
The OFTV platform features an array of content from OnlyFans creators, and while the regular website has become well-known for its explicit content, the app has gone in a different direction.
The streaming platform doesn't feature any X-rated content, with the site saying that "videos must be SFW, meaning there cannot be any nudity, implied nudity, or sexually explicit content."
Instead, the platform features content from OnlyFans stars who are experts in fitness, food, dating, music, comedy and more.
According to OFTV: "Fans can join their favourite OnlyFans creators to learn to cook their favourite meal, follow along with a workout routine, discover a new makeup tutorial, and much more."
The site includes vlog style videos from creators, as well as reality series and The Only Way is Essex star Chloe Sims recently revealed that her family are set to release their own show on the platform.
How much does OnlyFans TV cost?
While you usually need to pay a subscription fee to see OnlyFans creator's content on the regular OnlyFans platform, the content on the OFTV streaming platform is completely free to view.
You can either head straight to the OFTV website to view the latest videos and programmes or you can download the OFTV app.
The app is available on the app store for both Android and IOS devices and is also free to download.
