For those beauty fans that don’t have a big shopping budget to play with, Primark is something of a go-to destination, with many of its products going viral on social media as affordable alternatives for more luxurious high-end buys.
Take, for example, the £3 mascara that some beauty shoppers have compared to Benefit They’re Real!, or the £5 hair oil that one fan claimed works better on her hair than Olaplex. And let’s not forget the sell-out £1 false lashes that had shoppers ditching proper lash extensions in a bid to save money.
Now? The high street fave is back with a brand new beauty range, this time focusing on ingredient-led skincare that won’t break the bank – and the straightforward collection is giving us The Ordinary vibes.
Available in-store now the PS… Skin+ range is made up of 20 different products, with all of the skincare buys priced at £6 or less, covering off everything from cleansers to serums and face oils.
Primark has also got skincare savvy fans sorted with many of the buzziest ingredients of the moment in its new range, including retinol, salicylic acid, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Most of the serums cost a mere £3.50 each, while the niacinamide powder has a price tag of just £2.50. We predict this lot will sell out in no time!
This new launch comes just a few weeks after Primark’s Billion Dollar Lashes mascara went viral on social media as fans compared it to Benefit’s best-selling buy.
An Instagram Reel posted to the Dupeshop account claimed that Billion Dollar Lashes is a good affordable alternative for those on the hunt for a cheaper lash enhancer, with a model later comparing the results in the video.
The video then went on to offer thrifty shoppers further Primark “dupes”, including alternatives for high end foundations, bronzers and beauty sponges. Naturally many keen shoppers were quick to comment on the post, expressing their excitement.
With those prices, we predict that the new skincare range will be flying off the shelves in no time. Don’t delay in getting to your nearest Primark for a look!
