Football fan Prince Harry has been snapped in a never-before-seen photo that shows him posing next to one of the new owners of the Los Angeles Football Club.

The photo shows the suave-looking prince wearing a dark blazer and button-up shirt, standing in what appears to be an underground carpark in front of a black SUV, with one arm around entrepreneur and investor adviser Shaun Neff.

It appeared he was about to leave BMO Stadium, where the game was played, with a man visible next to the pair, holding the door open.

The royal looks a bit unsure in the snap, possibly due to the result of the match, which saw the LA team lose to Inner Miami, which is co-owned by David Beckham.

Prince Harry watched the match from a $9,000-a-night VIP suite featuring the LAFC, who lost to David Beckham ‘s Inter Miami, 3-1

The photo was a part of a carousel of images posted by Neff, showing a series of snaps of the football club along with the caption: ‘GRATEFUL TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE JOINED THE OWNERSHIP GROUP.’

The night of the picture appears to be taken on September 3 when the Duke of Sussex attended the LAFC and Inter Miami game.

Other famous faces in the mix of photos included Will Ferrell, who is also in the owners’ group, and NBA legend Magic Johnson.

Harry appeared to be sitting in a director’s box at the stadium, which costs between $3,000 and $9,000 to hire. The luxe box includes beer, wine, fruit, hot dogs, nachos and other foods, and access to a VIP lounge.

Photo from the night shows the Prince watching the match from the VIP suite, sitting next to Larry Berg, the co-owner of football club.

Behind him was actress and LAFC superfan Connie Britton, the 56-year-old star of Spin City, Friday Night Lights and most recently The White Lotus.

A future star of the NFL, USC quarterback Caleb Williams, was spotted a few rows in front.

A pre-match ‘notable attendees’ form showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the list, but while the other stars had their occupation listed, the royal couple were simply referred to as ‘Prince Harry’ and ‘Meghan Markle.’

However, Meghan didn’t end up attending the match, leaving Harry along to mingle with the high-profile football club executives.

The list showing the other notable attendees were posted online, which included Leonardo DiCaprio, Jason Sudeikis, Tom Holland, Selena Gomez and Will Ferrell.

The royal couple’s job titles were mocked again recently, this time by Seth McFarlane’s Family Guy.

In an episode from the newest series of the cartoon satire, which aired on Sunday, main character Peter Griffin compares himself to the royal couple, who stepped down as working members of the British Royal Family in 2020 to move to the US.

Sitting in a bar with his friends as he thinks of ways to retrieve money he is owed, Peter Griffin says he’ll ‘go it alone’ – just like ‘Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.’

The scene then cuts away to the royal couple relaxing by the pool in longue chairs, while a butler waits on them to hand them ‘millions from Netflix.’

A butler approaches and hands them a pay check, telling Harry: ‘Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no-one knows what.’

The cartoon prince replied: ‘Put it with the rest of them’ as he hurries away, and  Meghan’s phone buzzes with a notification.

She tells Harry: ‘Babe, time to do our daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.’

The Duke, staring off into the distance, replies: ‘I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense’ – in an alleged dig at the British monarchy.

Every person on the list of notable attendees had their job title included – except Harry and Meghan

Harry’s attendance at the game is unsurprising, with the royal discussing his love of sports in his memoir, Spare.

In the book, he recalled playing football while he was at school at Eton College in the UK.

‘I played every dry sport, though rugby captured my heart,’ he wrote. ‘”Dry sports” at Eton meant cricket, football, rugby or polo, and “wet sports” were rowing, sailing, or swimming.

Harry said he found playing rugby therapeutic. ‘Beautiful game, plus a good excuse to run into stuff very hard,’ he wrote.

The Prince was spotted walking past  Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz before the match, adding fuel to the rumors the Sussexes were feuding with the Beckhams.

In August, it was reported that David and Victoria Beckham appear to have been ‘Markled’ – the cruel word used by critics of Meghan to describe how she is seemingly able to swiftly move on from her once close friends.

The Beckhams were guests at her wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor in 2018. However, their friendship seems to have fizzled out, and Meghan and Harry were not guests at the wedding of Brooklyn to US heiress Nicola in April last year.

There were reports of a feud after claims that David and Victoria leaked stories about the Sussexes, an accusation which reportedly left David ‘absolutely bloody furious.’

A source close to the Beckhams at the time said: ‘David and Victoria went to Meghan and Harry’s wedding and were very supportive when Meghan arrived in the UK.’

But the accusations were reportedly came in a tense phone call, effectively  fracturing the friendship, with a source saying ‘Any making up now is unlikely.’
