RIVER Island is one of our favourite high street retailers, and now even more so thanks to Louise Roe's new edit.
The fashion guru, journalist and broadcaster – who some remember from The City alongside Whitney Port – has joined forces with River Island to launch the first of her three fashion collections.

Louise Roe's River Island edit spans across 32 pieces, which range in price from £9 to £75, all of which are available both online and in-store.
Among the 32-piece collection, one favourite of ours, as well as Louise's, is the Brown Faux Leather Oversized Biker Jacket, which also comes in a black colourway.
Speaking about the range, Louise said: "I’m thrilled to reveal my autumnal edit – what a lot of fun it was curating and styling so many looks for the new season.

A leather jacket is a firm favourite of ours, and frankly, a wardrobe essential.
The Brown Leather Jacket has a slightly oversized and boxy fit, which is perfect over dresses, jeans and a t-shirt, as well as knitwear, and much more.
The Brown Leather Jacket features a zip front fastening, as well as slight zip detail on the cuffs for a loose fit.
It also features side pocket detail, but we love best of all the subtle contrasting hem in a soft tan to contrast the deeper brown of the body of the jacket, which creates a vintage-like aesthetic – making it look far more expensive than it actually is.
The leather jacket comes in UK dress sizes six to 18, and retails for £75, which we think is a well-worthy investment you can rely on for many years to come.

Zara's iconic cropped bomber has been a huge hit this year, and now River Island's release is a very similar alternative.
We love the muted colourway, though it also comes in black.
Pair with jeans, trousers, combats, skirts, whether you are dressing for the day or night.

Black Faux Straight Leather Trousers
Every autumn and winter without fail we live in leather trousers, even in the spring, both day and night.
You can style the straight-leg trousers with trainers and a sweatshirt for a casual look, or with a glitzy top and heels for an evening.
The Leather Trousers are high-waisted, with both a zip and button front fastening, while the straight leg skim straight down the legs, which works to elongate your limbs.

Black Block Heeled Court Shoes
The Block Heeled Court Shoes are a ringer for Gucci loafers and we are obsessed with them.
They come in a fabric brown hue, as well as the patent black, and we want them in both colourways.
You can jazz up a classic look with jeans and a top, layered with a blazer or biker jacket, with a skirt, or dress, the styling options are endless.

Red Boucle Trophy Blazer
We may not have the boldest wardrobe, but having a select few staple pieces to inject some colour into your wardrobe is a safe way to go, and the Red Boucle Trophy Blazer is the solution.
The oversized shoulder detail is giving major seventies vibes, while the long sleeves, and slightly fitted style of the jacket, which falls just on the hips, make this a super chic design.
