THE Simba Black Friday sale is well worth taking a look at if you're looking for a bargain mattress this winter.

While there are sales on the premium mattress almost year-round at this point, we're expecting to see the widest range of products on sale come the tail-end of November.

Simba is one of the most popular bed-in-a-box brands in the UK and when it comes to sale season, the brand likes to go big.

In previous years we've seen up to 60% off various items on the site and, it's worth remembering that Simba sells much more than just mattresses; the sleep specialist also sells, duvets, weighted blankets, mattress toppers, pillows and more.

When is Black Friday 2023 and is Simba taking part?

Black Friday this year falls on November 24.

The American retail tradition means that the annual shopping event always falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US.

We expect that Simba will be taking part in Black Friday offerings because it has participated in previous years, with huge savings to be had on most items.

Most retailers tend to launch their Black Friday deals anywhere from up to three weeks before the main event, giving shoppers time to find something in enough time.

Some brands will even keep up the discounts after the Cyber weekend or while stocks last.

Are mattresses cheaper on Black Friday?

In short, yes.

Mattresses tend to be a lot more affordable on or around Black Friday and Cyber weekend thanks to the huge price reductions.

During the shopping event, mattresses not only tend to be cheaper but other deals are often thrown in to ensure you save money on all of the essentials.

For example, in previous years Simba has slashed the price of their signature bed bundles, which usually include a mattress, accessories and various pieces of bedding to help enhance your sleeping experience.

However, to make sure you're getting the best deal, it's good to have an idea of what you're looking for already in your head.

When is Cyber Monday 2023?

Cyber Monday is always the first Monday after the Black Friday weekend.

For some, Cyber Monday is usually the day you'll find bargain buys as the annual shopping event draws to a close.

Most retailers that are taking part in Black Friday will likely take part in both events.

Last year, Simba launched its offerings for Black Friday before the main event itself. Deals will run until Cyber Monday unless stated otherwise, or while stocks last.

Many shoppers wait until Cyber Monday to bag themselves a last-minute bargain, especially with the festive and gifting season coming so quickly afterwards.

What was in Simba's Black Friday deals last year?

Last year, coveted mattress brand Simba offered customers up to 50% off on accessories sleep bundles and more during Black Friday, with individual mattresses discounted by an impressive 45%.

Initially, these deals were only expected to be on untilBlack Friday but were then extended until Cyber Monday.

Although it happened last year, it doesn't mean we'll see the same again this year, it does however, give us an idea of what kind of discounts we'll have to look forward to.

The brand's Original Hybrid Mattress had a saving of over £450 last year, while the Hybrid Pro mattress had an astonishing £683 saving.

How much does Simba Sleep delivery cost?

Simba Sleep offers free standard delivery with a two-person crew, for a convenient and seamless delivery experience.

If you need your old mattress taken away, Simba will take your old mattress for recycling once you have your new one.

They also offer a Next Day delivery service to most postcodes for £40 when you order before 10am.

You’ll receive your mattress or any other item you’ve ordered from the website within three business days after your purchase (or four days, if you order after 2pm).

Does Simba offer any other discounts?

Simba offers a generous 41% discount to NHS staff through Health Service Discounts.

They also offer discounts to Blue Light Card holders.

But if you don't work for the NHS, there are plenty of promotions available for ordinary shoppers too.

Right now at Simba, shoppers can save up to 55% off a range of premium mattresses, with discounts soaring over £1,000 on some of the luxury models.
