AsStacey Solomon prepares to tie the knot to fiancéJoe Swash later this month, theLoose Women star has been busy documenting her wedding prep on Instagram.
Given that she’s known for her incredible DIY skills after recently renovating her Pickle Cottage home, it’s no surprise that the 32 year old has been keen toput her own stamp on the big day by making her own handmade decorations.
After recently crafting a floral wedding door display as well as an impressive mirrored welcome sign, mum-of-four Stacey has turned her attention to keeping the little ones entertained throughout the nuptials.
To do so, the TV personality has come up with a clever idea of creating special activity packs for the big day, ideal for keeping the younger guests happy for the duration of the occasion.
Taking to her Instagram story, Stacey shared a clip of herself putting together these packs while sitting by herrecently refurbished swimming pool.
Captioning the video, she wrote: “Finished my voice over then I had a long meeting! Finally all done so I’m sitting by the pool making little activity packs for the pickles at the wedding [beady eye emoji].”
The social media star could be seen filling a woven tote bag that read ‘Little Pickle Activity Pack’ with goodies including a children’s wedding activity pack, some slime and a small teddy bear keyring.
In another snap, Stacey revealed that she’d be adding in some additional food items nearer to the time.
As the bride-to-be filled up bag after bag, Stacey hinted that her wedding would be having a neutral theme after she placed the items into a similar beige coloured crate that featured a white Little Pickles banner.
And to ensure that her guests would be making the most of the favours, Stacey added an additional sign that instructed her nearest and dearest to: “Please feel free to grab one for your little pickles.”
As part of the celebrations, the Sort Your Life Out presenter also explained that she was supporting lots of different small businesses in order to make her day as special as possible.
“I love and appreciate small businesses so so much so I’m trying to use as many as possible for our special day… I bought these bags and crate from @essexcrafts94 [crying emoji],” she explained.
Stacey’s latest wedding update comes afterthe TV star jetted off to Mykonos to enjoy her hen party.
While on the trip, she soaked in the sun of the Greek Island and took part in a series of fun-filled activities including horse riding, snorkelling and even synchronised swimming.
Commenting on the trip, she wrote on Instagram: “Honestly, I’ve never been to Mykonos before it is the most beautiful island, everything is so stunning! I’m going to miss the white blues and pinks on every corner.”
