If you’re a millennial, you’ll probably know how infuriating it is to live in a time of bushy brows when you massacred yours with tweezers to look like Stripped era Christina Aguilera circa 2002 – enter this brow gel and serum.
Unlike our leg, armpit and top lip hair, which appear to grow back within minutes, it seems like eyebrows have a zero-tolerance policy. One harsh tweeze and they pack their bags for good.
But thankfully, there’s a new serum that shoppers claim is giving them gloriously full brows and we’re totes here for it.
Grande Cosmetics, stocked at Sephora UK, has released its GrandeBrow 2in1 and it’s already making waves.
It’s such a multi-functional beauty tool, making it a proper handy hun for your cosmetics bag.
Not only is it a brow tint, available in three colours, but it has mini fibers that aim to instantly add volume to any sparse areas with a serum that the brand claims will promote growth over time.
It also aims to deliver 12-hour wear time and claims to be totally smudge-proof. Which is ideal if you get caught in the rain or end up face first in someone’s armpit on the tube.
The brand tested the brow tint and serum with a group of subjects and claimed an impressive 100% saw thicker-looking brows and 93% felt it was the best brow gel ever used. Not too shabby ey?
‘I’m a huge fan of using brow gels to fill in and define my brows. I reach for them often so I’ve tried many different products. This is one of my favorite,’ one reviewer wrote online, adding: ‘I also noticed that my eyebrows look thicker and because it has the brow serum, you get double the benefits.’
Another wrote: ‘I was so excited to try this product & it exceeded my expectations! I’ve tried several other eyebrow products and usually they don’t look very natural or don’t last long enough. This brow gel is super easy to use, filled in my brows naturally, and truly lasted all day without smudging or fading. However, not everyone was swayed by it and for some, it didn’t have as much hold as it did for others, while one user said it was ‘difficult to use’.
One said that while they loved the colour match it had ‘zero hold’ – so it did appear to fall short for some shoppers.
Still, others mused it was a ‘must-have’ and turns out the celebs love it too. Alison Brie included it in a beauty tutorial and beauty influencer Huda Kattan also uses it.
