Yes, you read that right – Shrek’s swamp is going to be available to stay in.
No, it’s not far, far away, it’s in the Scottish Highlands.
With Donkey as your host, the property – which is owned and operated by Ardverikie Estate – is the absolute spit of the iconic swamp home we all know and love from the films.
Guests will enjoy parfait while they relax in ‘earwax candle’ mood lighting, and be greeted with a stack of freshly made waffles in the morning, of course.
Every little detail seems to have been taken into account – from the ‘Beware Ogre’ signs and dirt floor to the bucket hanging outside the outhouse.
There’s also a concierge to prepare your meals and show you around.
Guests will be able to book a two-night stay for up to three friends from October 27-29.
And if you’re looking at these photos and reaching for your wallet, there’s no need, because the stay is being offered totally free of charge.
The £0 cost was set in reference to the refuge the fairytale creatures found in Shrek’s Swamp in the films.
Airbnb will be making a donation to HopScotch Children’s Charity, which provides some of Scotland’s most vulnerable children with nurturing trips.
If you want to throw your hat into the ring for this stay, you can request to book the swamp from October 13 at 6 pm BST on the Airbnb website.
