Married At First Sight Australia contestants Harrison Boon and Bronte Schofield were one of the first couples to meet at the altar but drama soon unfolded between the pair just moments after meeting.
The dating series, Married At First Sight Australia sees singletons matched by experts to their partners who they meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day.
On this year's tenth season of the hit reality tv drama, we saw things come to an explosive end for Harrison and Bronte despite their initial attraction as their faces lit up at the altar when they first saw each other.
In a dramatic turn on their wedding day, it was revealed to Bronte by one of her friends that Harrison had been seeing someone else just days before the experiment and had promised them a future.
The episodes that followed saw the couple immediately head into a downward spiral as they attempted to make it work.
After the drama unfolded on this year's season of MAFS with Harrison and Bronte we take a look at where the pair are now since filming has finished.
Bronte and Harrison's explosive time
Despite the rocky start and explosive plot twist on their wedding day Bronte and Harrison tried to make it work and moved into an apartment together, although they opted to sleep in separate rooms from the get go.
The relationship went from bad to worse when Harrison wrote 'leave' in the first commitment ceremony, despite Bronte insisting he had told her he would stay.
During intimacy week on the show, Bronte ghosted Harrison after he had organised a date for them but despite this, the pair continued to attempt to make it work in the experiment and both wrote 'stay' in future commitment ceremonies.
Things came to a dramatic end during the final dinner party, which is filmed before the final commitment ceremony when Bronte broke up with Harrison at the table following the Honesty Box challenge.
She said "I'm done with you. I'm done with this man. Harrison, we're done.
"We're over, and I honestly don't wanna see you again."
Where are they now?
If it wasn't already clear, the couple parted ways and have both made it clear on their Instagram's it was the right decision.
In a lengthy caption on Instagram Bronte expressed her feeling following the ending of their relationship and said in part: "I wanted this to work for so many reasons, reasons that no one will ever know or understand".
Adding: "Walking away from false hope & promises is not easy in real life, yet alone in an experiment you have given up EVERYTHING to be a part of".
She signed it off with "For any woman who has been in a similar situation, it is not weak to walk away, I will forever feel an immense amount of guilt for trying to make it work with someone who never wanted me to begin with and showing women everywhere that this is okay to keep choosing someone because you are scared to be alone.. it is not. Your feelings are valid. You are allowed to enforce your boundaries. You do not need anyone's approval. Ever. You ARE enough. Believe it and never let insecurity run your life.
"As for you Harrison… Forgiving you in silence and never speaking to you again is a form of self care. Take Care, B x".
Although they haven't posted much outside of MAFS since the break up, Bronte has shared snaps of a sunny holiday with a friend and looks as though to be moving on and enjoying the single life.
Before appearing on the show Bronte worked as an online beauty educator in her home city of Perth, it is unknown at this time if she will return to her previous career.
While Harrison wrote in a caption on Instagram with a photo from MAFS "Well that’s a wrap. Still standing despite the girl group thinking it’s all a big joke. That’s ok, I’m used to people not agreeing with me.
I know the truth, I know my values. They might not be appreciated in this experiment where people are running their own race and saying they're something when they’re not, but that’s ok. The real ones know".
This year's series of MAFS Australia was filmed in Sydney back in August 2022 and seven months later it looks as though Harrison has moved on with his new girlfriend.
In a source from Daily Mail Australia Harrison was spotted holding hands with a woman called Gina while at Syndey's Coogee Pavilion.
An onlooker told The Brag.com, "Harrison and Gina met a few months ago after his split from Bronte, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. They’ve kept their relationship under wraps until now, but with Harrison’s TV marriage officially over, they’re thrilled to be able to go public."
Harrison's mother later confirmed the pair were a thing and shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, "Onwards and upwards with the partner you deserve and opportunities to tell your side of the story. The side that people are asking for…”
