THERE are over 60,000 stores across the UK in which the One4all gift card can be used.
But are they safe to use and where can I spend it? Here's what we know.
Where can you buy One4All gift cards online?
In 2000, a frantic entrepreneur Michael Dawson, was out hunting for a specific type of gift card, when he came up with the idea to create a gift voucher that was more convenient.
In 2002, The Gift Voucher Shop officially launched in Ireland, selling branded paper gift vouchers that could be spent in 500 retailers and sold through 1,000s of Post Offices Nationwide.
Today, paper gift vouchers are a little old-fashioned, so GVS updated the multi-store One4all Gift Card into a digital gift card that can be spent at over 60,000 stores.
You can purchase the gift card at the following places:

What are the dangers of gift cards?
The main risk with a gift card is the issuer going bust – meaning you will lose the money.
And another danger is the gift card expiring before you have spent the money.
If this does happen, the remaining balance will be wiped and you will not be able to use the card.
Consumers who get One4All gift cards that were bought after November 1, 2022, will have 18 months to spend them before inactive balance charges kick in.
The inactive balance charge is £0.90 a month. Over a full year, such a charge would drain £10.80 from a gift card.
Almost all retailers offer some kind of consumer gift card for both online and brick-and-mortar stores.
Whether physical or online, you will be given a specific code to use to redeem the value of your gift card, but this can come with a few risks.
There are multiple types of gift card scams and fraud and some of them are quite sophisticated.
For example, some fraudsters may employ an automated algorithm to check potential account numbers and request the balance.
With just the account information cybercriminals can purchase as much as the card balance will allow.
The cardholder may not even know the funds were gone for weeks or months and it could never be recovered.
Gift card fraud can affect just about any merchant too.
Are there any One4All gift card scams to watch out for?
There are no scams specifically relating to the One4all gift cards.
However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be wary.
Be sure to check your balance on any gift cards regularly and report any missing funds to the police straight away.
Additionally, the faster you spend the gift card, the less likely you are to be scammed, or miss out simply by losing your card, or reaching the expiry date.
Scammers could also call you regarding your gift cards, or send you spam emails.
