As battery technology becomes cheaper and cheaper, it seems that walking has become more and more redundant.
E-scooters are booming in popularity across the UK, despite the government dragging its heels on making them road-legal.
This convenient new mode of transport already seems to be everywhere but there could be even more on our streets thanks to Black Friday.

Popular e-scooter manufacturer Zinc has got out of the gate early by launching its Black Friday e-scooter sales this week, and the discounts are massive.
The company, which makes both folding e-scooters and 'hoverboards', has begun its deals with up to 52% off in some instances.
Its Megastar Hoverboard is currently half price down to £299.99, meaning you can move around standing up without having to use your feet.
Meanwhile, the Zinc Eco Plus Electric Scooter has had £50 slashed off its usual price tag. Designed for adults, this scooter can zoom you along private roads for up to 8.7 miles, but it's worth remembering you aren't allowed to use it on public highways or pavements.

The company is clearly keen to get kids on e-scooters as well, which is why the Zinc E4 'Spaceman' scooter is down to £99.99 from £119.99. This one has already sold out, but it's worth keeping an eye on the Zinc website to see if it becomes available again. It's not as quick as an adult scooter but will still need parental supervision.
Finally, the company's premium 'Velocity Plus' e-scooter has had £100 knocked off the price tag, and can be snapped up for £599.99. This one can zoom you along at up to 15.5mph and comes with reflectors and front / rear brakes for additional safety.
Other retailers are set to launch their Black Friday sales early so do keep an eye out for any bargains ahead of the main sales on 25 November.
