Elon Musk has been handed a Guiness World Record for biggest loser ever, after his fortune plummeted in value late last year.
The Twitter and Tesla CEO has set the record for largest loss of personal fortune in history, after losing £153bn ($182billion) since November 2021.
Musk has also lost his crown as world's richest man, being overtaken by French luxury fashion mogul Bernard Arnault, who owns Louis Vuitton.

Musk hasn't responded to the world record news, instead taking to Twitter to reveal that users can now bold and italicise their posts.
It could have further financial implications for him however, as he planned to pay the $44bn fee for Twitter by selling Tesla stock. This has now dropped in value to $99.7 down from $400, around a 65% decrease.
Sanj Atwal of the Guinness World Records said: "Although the exact figure is almost impossible to ascertain, Musk' total losses far surpass the previous record of $58.6 billion, set by Japanese tech investor Masayoshi Son in 2000.

They added: "According to Forbes, Musk's net worth dropped from a peak of $320 billion in 2021 to $138 billion as of January 2023, largely due to the poor performance of Tesla's stock."
You don't need to worry about the eccentric billionaire though: Musk won't be going hungry any time soon.
He remains the second richest man in the world and owns Tesla, Twitter, SpaceX, the Boring Company, and Neuralink.
Tesla itself is still the world's most valuable car company, despite its losses.
