Ever since it was first introduced in 2017, being able to 'unsend' messages on WhatsApp has been a godsend for those with an itchy typing finger.
It means you're able to stop friends and family seeing accidental messages or embarrassing photos, leaving behind nothing but a watermark telling them that a message was deleted.
But if you've ever accidentally tapped 'Delete for me' instead of 'Delete for everyone', you'll know how stressful it can be.

Luckily, WhatsApp has just released a major new free upgrade which gives you the chance to save your message from prying eyes.
'Accidental Delete' is now available as a WhatsApp update. It gives you five seconds to reverse an accidental message deletion and change it to 'Delete for Everyone'.
Top Twitter honcho Will Cathcart announced the feature by saying: "We've added the option to undo 'Delete for me' for those times when you mean to delete for everyone but accidentally deleted just for yourself."
However, plenty of WhatsApp fans have complained that Accidental Delete is not really what they wanted to see added to the app this Christmas.

Responding to WhatsApp gaffer Will Cathcart's announcement about the feature, Twitter users are moaning that WhatsApp should get rid of the text which tells contacts a message has been deleted.
Twitter user @IhabEmil said: "Can u actually when I delete for everyone not show that there was a message there because everyone has to ask what did u send and it is more effort to explain than to just not delete it."
Another user, Jay Torres, said: "If I delete a message I don't want other people to know."
